Comments
This is a rare 50 button Anglo that may have been produced by Lachenal & Co as a one-off and certainly doesn't feature in known catalogues of the period. It has raised metal ends and metal buttons and two 'novelty' sounds; a cock crow and bird whistle. Most of the pivot posts are typical Lachenal but a few, on levers that have a contorted path, are rivetted. The concertina was subject to a complete restoration a few years ago but was left in its original keys and tuning.
